HOLT’s two-level home will make for an unforgettable trip to San Miguel for your friends and family. Construction completed in February 2023, the house has been stylishly designed with local art from Fabrica la Aurora. Sleeping up to 12 people, you will be safe and secure in this incredible La Escondida home, chock-full of private amenities and shared facilities.

Our property is part of La Escondida, a private community a short ride to the heart of historic San Miguel de Allende. The amenities include 24-hour gated security, secured parking, an Olympic-size pool and adults-only pool, a clubhouse and gym facilities. In addition, all guests have access to Escondida’s shuttles in and out of Centro, available on a schedule for pickup from your front door.

The home includes:

The Living Rooms & Dining Rooms include:
• Two living rooms and seating areas, as well as two dining tables, indoor and outdoor
• Seating for your whole group, and Roku-enabled smartTVs

The Bedrooms include:
• All five bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers and Roku-enabled smartTVs
• The bathrooms feature monsoon showerheads and illuminated mirrors to get the lighting just right!
• The Master Bedroom has a King bed, walk-in closet, 60-inch TV and private seating area
• Four bedrooms have King beds, and the fifth bedroom has two single beds
• Two bedrooms have access to the second-floor patio, with outdoor furniture, an umbrella, and garden & mountain views
• Plenty of clean linens, blow-dryer, three sizes of towels, and the full range of toiletries offered!

The Kitchen includes:
• A modern kitchen fully stocked for your cooking needs, including all necessary cookware, plates, cutlery, knife block, and cooking utensils
• Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, range & oven, blender, toaster, and much more

Everything else:
• Shared community facilities include two pools, a gym and a pick-up shuttle service in and out of the historic San Miguel Centro.
• Custom keycodes for keyless entry for each guest, including 24/7 check-in
• Washer & dryer, iron, and ironing board. Laundry services can be provided by HOLT staff.
• Two additional half bathrooms plus an outdoor shower in the pool area
• Professional cleaning and disinfection service before every stay
• Breakfast and mid-stay cleaning are available for an additional fee upon explicit written request from guests’ post-booking confirmation. Please note that we need at least 24 hours notice for this service. Breakfast will only be available for same-day arrival bookings beginning on the 2nd morning of the reservation.

Guest Access

Guests have full and exclusive use of the space during their stay. HOLT’s housekeeping staff has access and will be on-site during daytime hours most days of the week to ensure high-quality service throughout your stay with us. In the event of an emergency, HOLT reserves the right to enter the property without prior guest approval.

The Neighborhood

HOLT’s property is located at La Escondida, a beautiful and exclusive gated community, just a 10-minute drive from downtown San Miguel de Allende. You have access to the amazing amenities that La Escondida has to offer during your stay. Work out in the gym facilities, enjoy the swimming pools, 24/7 security. La Escondida also has a free shuttle service to and from downtown to the property, making this place the perfect home base to explore everything that the magical city of San Miguel has to offer.

San Miguel de Allende is one of the most attractive and charming cities in Mexico, well-known for its culture, and vibrant art. San Miguel’s stunning architecture, colorful streets, and enchanting traditions have made this town in Guanajuato one of the most important destinations for tourism in Mexico and a designated UNESCO world heritage site. The city has also been awarded as The Best City in the World to visit more than once!

Getting Around

There is free parking right in front of the property for multiple cars. If you don’t have a vehicle, La Escondida has a free and fast shuttle service that can take you downtown and back to the property. Uber, local taxis, public transportation, and executive taxis are also available.

Other Things to Note

All guests must sign a HOLT rental agreement, submit identification & provide contact details before arrival to receive HOLT’s Boarding Pass with check-in and property information. HOLT reserves the right to request a copy of a government-issued ID for each guest in the reservation.

If you are booking for commercial purposes, please notify us in advance with details of your use of the property as terms and pricing may vary.

This is a pet-friendly property. There is an additional $50 USD sanitation fee per pet and also a $200 USD security deposit per pet, which is refundable after your check out when HOLT’s cleaners confirm there is no pet damage. Guests not disclosing they are bringing a pet but are caught by our team will be subject to a $500 USD fee.

We offer a complimentary 20-liter water jug for each stay. Refills are available for an additional fee. A new water jug is provided weekly at no extra cost for long stays.
