The Space

Nestled into the mountain desert landscape outside the historic town of San Miguel de Allende, CASA DOM is built as an escape from the rigors of modern life. Here, solo or couples travelers are intended to explore the Seven Factors of Awakening. A sun-drenched home with modern comforts such as King bed, full kitchen and large protector TV, the spartan space will bring only the essential into focus. Walk the grounds and bathe in the oversized outdoor tub. Turn inward to explore the otherworldly.


CASA DOM is a refuge immersed in a natural environment at El Cerro de las Tres Cruces that brings together design, architecture and connection with the exterior and interior space through its double-height windows.


The home’s loft-type open house concept seeks simplicity and tranquility through its materials, lighting, and design.


Visitors will enter the home alongside the Sun, through the massive, double-height windowed front. Just inside lays the comfortable, open living space. Moving to the rear of the home, you pass a dining area on your way to the kitchen. The arch-framed modern kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs.


Take the steps upstairs to the open loft King bedroom on the 2nd floor, with an attached private bathroom featuring an oversized soaking bathtub.


Step outside, where you can enjoy outdoor seating and dining, as well as a wood and charcoal-fired grill. The fire pit and hammock rest easily under mesquite and cactus trees.


Relax in the outdoor soaking tub, with hot and cold water available at the turn of a knob.


Enjoy the contemplative space with a Buddhist Stupa in the center of the garden. These iconic constructions provide a positive state of mind and peace for the people who approach them, and for the environment where they are. Channel the power of purification, harmony, and, spiritual support.


As night falls, lower the remote-controlled blinds on the front windows and watch the front space transform into a dreamy cinema space for the TV projector.

• The kitchen is ready for your cooking needs, stocked with necessary cookware, plates, cutlery, knife block, cooking utensils, a fridge, microwave, blender, toaster, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, and much more!
• The bathroom is stock with a blow dryer, three sizes of towels, and a full range of toiletries
• The property boasts Starlink-powered high-speed Wifi
• Breakfast and mid-stay cleaning are available for an additional fee Monday through Saturday upon explicit written request from guests’ post-booking confirmation. Please note that we need at least 24 hours notice for this service. Breakfast will only be available for same-day arrival bookings beginning on the 2nd morning of the reservation.


Guest Access

Guests have full and exclusive use of the space during their stay. CASA DOM is somewhat removed from the main road, and given the reclusive nature of the space, it’s important guests follow closely the directions in their Boarding Pass to find the property. Finding the property is not as easy as just inputting an address into a Maps application because the access roads have not been fully mapped yet. This is a feature, not a bug, of the location!


There may be times when HOLT staff require entry to the grounds and the home. We will communicate this with you in advance. In the event of an emergency, HOLT reserves the right to enter the property without prior guest approval.



HOLT’s Guest Experience team is reachable by message, phone, text, and email 24/7. Our on-the-ground managers, cleaners, and handymen are available at reasonable hours of the day and night.

San Miguel de Allende is one of the most attractive and charming cities in Mexico, well-known for its culture, and vibrant art. San Miguel’s stunning architecture, colorful streets, and its enchanting traditions have made this town in Guanajuato one of the most important destinations for tourism in Mexico and a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. The city has also been awarded The Best City in the World to live more than once!


Immerse yourself in a natural environment, CASA DOM is nestled at the foot of El Cerro de las Tres Cruces, a 10-minute drive from the iconic center of San Miguel. Offering a unique escape from the urban hustle, our villa is a peaceful retreat where you can unwind, surrounded by thoughtful outdoor amenities and a garden with a thorough selection of local flora that enhances the natural experience.


Getting Around: 

The property has plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles, allowing a quick and easy connection with everything that the center of San Miguel de Allende offers.


Please be mindful and aware, that during arrival, this property is removed from developed areas of San Miguel (intentionally!) and does not have a traditional address that you can simply plug into your smartphone. This home and property were developed in a more natural landscape on purpose, and thus it is important you pay close attention to the provided step-by-step directions in HOLT’s Boarding Pass.


Other things to note

All guests must sign a HOLT rental agreement, submit identification & provide contact details before arrival to receive HOLT’s Boarding Pass with check-in and property information. HOLT reserves the right to request a copy of a government-issued ID for each guest in the reservation.


The property has a CCTV security camera on the exterior of the property with a view of the entrance of our property. There are no recording devices in private areas of the unit. All recordings are deleted after 30 days.


If you are booking for commercial purposes, please notify us in advance with details of your use of the property as terms and pricing may vary.


This is a pet-friendly property. There is an additional $50 USD sanitation fee per pet and also a $200 USD security deposit in total which is refundable after your check out when HOLT’s cleaners confirm there is no pet damage. Guests not disclosing they are bringing a pet but are caught by our team will be subject to a $500 USD fee.
